Terms of Service
Last updated: 30 August 2026
These Terms govern your use of Prabhudarshan.live and the Prabhudarshan mobile app (together, the "Service"), operated by Prabhudarshan Technologies Pvt. Ltd. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms.
1. Eligibility
You must be at least 13 years old to use the Service. By using it, you confirm you meet this requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.
2. Your account
We authenticate you using a one-time password sent to your phone or email. You are responsible for keeping your device secure and for any activity that happens under your account.
3. Subscriptions and payments
Premium features (such as the screensaver mode and ad-free aarti) are available through a paid subscription billed via Razorpay. You may cancel anytime from your account page; your benefits remain active until the end of the current billing period.
4. Acceptable use
- Don't use the Service to harass, defame, or harm others.
- Don't attempt to break, scrape, or reverse-engineer it.
- Live aarti broadcasts are for personal devotional use; don't rebroadcast them commercially without permission.
5. Content from temples
Live streams, photos, and aarti lyrics are provided by partner temples. We make reasonable efforts to verify them but cannot guarantee accuracy.
6. Puja bookings
A puja booking is a request for a named ritual to be performed at a stated temple or location, at a stated time, by a pandit we appoint. It becomes confirmed only once a pandit has accepted it. Payment alone does not confirm a booking, and we will tell you plainly which state your booking is in.
If no pandit accepts your booking, we cancel it and process a refund. Refunds are reviewed and issued by our team rather than automatically, so please allow a few working days from cancellation, plus your bank’s own settlement time.
7. Your participation, and what happens if we cannot reach you
Many pujas cannot be performed without you. A sankalp requires your name, gotra and intention; a live or online puja requires you to join at the appointed time; a puja at your home requires someone to admit the pandit. Where we need those details or your presence, we ask for them when you book and confirm them before the muhurat.
If we cannot reach you on the phone number, WhatsApp number or email you gave us, we will make reasonable repeated attempts to contact you before the scheduled time and will record each attempt. If we still cannot reach you and the puja therefore cannot proceed:
- we may place the booking on hold and reschedule it to the next suitable muhurat, at no extra charge, where that is possible; or
- where the pandit has attended, travelled, or reserved the muhurat and the ritual could not be completed for reasons attributable to you, we may treat the booking as fulfilled and retain the amount necessary to cover the pandit’s time and any costs already incurred, refunding the balance where any remains.
We will tell you which of these we have applied and why, and we keep a dated record of our contact attempts. If you believe we have this wrong, write to us and we will review it — see “Grievance redressal” below. Nothing here limits any right you have under the Consumer Protection Act, 2019.
Please keep your contact details current in the app. A booking that fails because the number on file is out of date is the one situation this clause exists for.
8. Live and online pujas
Live and online pujas depend on things neither of us fully controls — your internet connection and ours, the temple’s connectivity, electricity, and the conditions inside a working place of worship.
- We will make reasonable efforts to deliver the stream or call at the appointed muhurat, and to provide a recording afterwards where the booking includes one.
- If a technical failure on our side prevents the puja from being performed at all, we will reschedule it or refund it.
- If the ritual is performed but your own connection, device or availability prevented you from watching it live, the puja has been delivered. Where a recording is part of your booking, we will provide it.
- Temples may restrict filming during certain rituals or on certain days. Where that prevents a live view, we will tell you and offer a recording, a reschedule, or a refund.
A puja is a devotional service. We undertake to have the named ritual performed with due care by a competent pandit — we do not, and cannot, promise any particular worldly outcome from it.
9. Prasad and deliveries
Where your booking includes prasad or another physical item, it is dispatched to the address you provide and delivery times depend on the courier. Please give a complete address and a reachable number. If a delivery fails because the address was wrong or nobody could be reached, we will try again where the courier allows it; repeated failed attempts may be charged for.
10. Cancellation by you
You may cancel a booking from the app. What comes back to you depends on how close to the muhurat you cancel, because a pandit’s time and the muhurat itself are reserved on your behalf. The tiers in force are shown to you in the app at the moment you cancel, before you confirm, and are set out on our Refunds & cancellations page.
11. Records we keep
For every booking we keep a dated record of its history: when it was made and paid for, who was assigned, what was communicated to you, our attempts to contact you, and any evidence of delivery. We keep these to run the service properly and to be able to answer a dispute fairly, and we may rely on them if a payment is later challenged.
12. Termination
We may suspend or end your access if you violate these Terms. You may delete your account at any time from the app.
13. Grievance redressal
If something has gone wrong, write to support@prabhudarshan.live with your booking id. We aim to acknowledge within 48 hours and to resolve within 30 days, as required by the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020.
